Well what a 2 Day Event we had this month where we played El Paraiso and Los Flamingos and with 92 players togging out for the event it was a busy weekend.
Congratulations to our overall winner Phil Tobin who scored a massive 90 points over the 2 days. Also a huge congratulations to our Lady winner Phyll Doyle.
Also this 2 day event marked the end of the Golfer of the Year competition which was won by Kevin McLaughlin. On Thursday 10th November the 10 top ranked players played in a FedEx Cup style playoff competition where they were each allocated pre tournament points based on their rankings. In the end the top ranked golfer won out by 1 shot in incredibly exciting fashion

We are now in a “grace period” where the Player of the Year competition has not started. It will commence the first Saturday in January. This “grace period” will allow us time to trial new ideas in the society over the next number of weeks as we are always looking to improve.
